Training & Certification
The Board of Equalization (BOE) is responsible for certifying persons engaged in performing the duties of an appraiser or an assessment analyst for property tax purposes, monitoring yearly training requirements and providing training on appraisal related topics. The BOE also develops self-study training sessions for members of county assessment appeals boards and county staff involved in processing assessment appeals applications.
