Parrish Announces Opening Of New Satellite Office In
Kearny Mesa
Claude Parrish, Vice-Chairman, State Board of Equalization
(BOE) announced today that the BOE has established a new Sales
and Use Tax Department satellite office in Kearny Mesa, the
first of this kind in over 20 years. The office is located
within the San Diego County Assessor's office at 5473 Kearny
Villa Road, Suite 300, San Diego, CA 92123.
Mr. Parrish will be acknowledging the contribution of Mr.
Gregory Smith, San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk,
in making this new satellite office possible. This new location
involves the joint use of an existing government office with
no additional cost to the taxpayers. Moreover, it is located
in the Kearny Mesa area, which is a major hub of business
in San Diego County.
The office opening is scheduled for noon on October 27, 2000.
Taxpayers are invited to visit the new office, which will
provide sales and use tax information and assistance to local
business owners. The event will also provide an opportunity
to meet Mr. Parrish and Mr. Smith. Refreshments will be served
throughout the event.
