Chiang Announces 2001 Norwalk Taxpayer Service Day Program Scheduled For June 9, 2001

The Honorable John Chiang, Vice Chair, State Board of Equalization (BOE) announced today that several federal, state and local government agencies will team up to offer a one-day, free tax seminar to Norwalk area businesses. The seminar is designed to be a one-stop source of business and tax information for small business owners.

Time: 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Place: Rio Hondo College

Whittier, CA 90601

The taxpayer service day will start at 8:30 A.M. with opening remarks by Mr. Chiang and Norwalk District Administrator Michael Templeton. The seminar will include general information sessions as well as workshops tailored to suit the needs of the small business owner.
