Free Fair Offered For Norwalk Small Business
Owners
John Chiang, Chair, State Board of Equalization (BOE), announced
today that several federal, state, and local government agencies will team
up to offer a free, one-day tax fair to Norwalk area small businesses. Designed
to be a one-stop source of business and tax information for small business
owners, these fairs have been met with rave reviews. Business owners receive
a wealth of information and are given the opportunity to talk to the experts.
If you are a small business owner, you won't want to miss this fair.

Registration for the small business fair will begin at 8:30
a.m. with opening remarks by Mr. Chiang at 9:00 a.m. The fair will include
general information sessions, as well as workshops tailored to suit the needs
of the small business owner.

Franchise Tax Board, Internal Revenue Service, Small Business Development Center,
as well as other local, state, and federal agencies will be present to answer
taxpayer questions.
