Free Fair Offered for Los Angeles Small Business Owners
John Chiang, Chair, State Board of Equalization (BOE), announced
today that several federal, state, and local government agencies will team
up to offer a free, one-day tax fair to Los Angeles area small businesses.
Designed to be a one-stop source of business and tax information for small
business owners, these fairs have been met with rave reviews. Business owners
receive a wealth of information and are given the opportunity to talk to
the experts. If you are a small business owner, you won't want to miss this
fair.

The Los Angeles tax fair will start at 9:00
a.m. with opening remarks by Mr. Chiang. Assemblymember Paul Koretz, representing
the 42nd District, is also scheduled to address the small businesses in attendance.
The fair will include general information sessions, as well as workshops
tailored to suit the needs of the small business owner.
