            5            MR. HORTON:  I respectfully ask that we adjourn 

            6   the Board meeting in memory of two fine and 

            7   distinguished individuals.  First, member of the Board 

            8   of Equalization family, Bryan Eagan, who passed away on 

            9   Monday, November 7, 2011.  

           10            Mr. Eagan worked for the Board for four years 

           11   as a Staff Information System Analyst in the Technology 

           12   Service Division of our headquarters office.  He will be 

           13   missed by us all.  We certainly -- our condolence to the 

           14   family and our prayers are with them during the 

           15   difficult time.  

           16            The second is a dear friend of mine, and I'm 

           17   sure of many of us here on the dais.  She was a champion 

           18   for women's issues, children's issues, family issues.  

           19   She was a mother to many of us, a consultant, a mentor, 

           20   just a jewel to be around, encouraging people with her 

           21   smile and just her gestures and the way that she carried 

           22   herself in a very professional manner.  

           23            I speak of Senator Teresa Hughes who was a 

           24   personal friend of mine.  And I'd ask that we adjourn in 

           25   her memory and extend to her husband, Dr. Stagger, and 

           26   her family our deepest sympathies during these times of 

           27   bereavement.  

           28            Members, that concludes our -- our meeting.
