            5            MS. YEE:  Good morning.  Let's call this Board 

            6   of Equalization meeting to order.  

            7            Before we get started, I just wanted to make to 

            8   announcement that a colleague of many of us here up on 

            9   the dais passed away this morning, State Senator Jenny 

           10   Oropeza, who represents a Senate District here in 

           11   Southern California that has served with distinction in 

           12   the California State Assembly and has been a Member of 

           13   the California State Senate and also previously served 

           14   as Chair of the Senate Committee on Revenue and 

           15   Taxation.  

           16            So, our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her 

           17   family.
