YEE: Actually, before we start the next 6 case, I just wanted to acknowledge one of our counsels 7 from the Franchise Tax Board is retiring, Miss Jean 8 Cramer. And she has been before this Board on numerous 9 occasions. 10 But I wanted to offer her our congratulations 11 on her retirement, that she has a stellar career with 12 the Franchise Tax Board. 13 And started as a student intern, working her 14 way up through the agency and now serving as a Tax 15 Counsel IV. 16 But we've relied on Jean and, actually, even 17 during that period did something that Ms. Steel 18 can relate to, went and got her -- completed her LLM in 19 taxation and has been really the subject matter expert 20 in issues including federal actions, Cal independent 21 care credits, head of household status and innocent 22 spouse relief and more recently has helped us really get 23 our guidance down with respect to provisions of -- 24 affecting registered domestic partners. 25 So, Jean, we will miss you. I know the 26 Franchise Tax Board will miss you. 27 But just thank you for your coolness and 28 calmness. We appreciate it. 3 1 MS. CRAMER: Thank you. 2 MR. HORTON: I'll join you, if I may? 3 MS.
