            4            MS. YEE:  Okay, Members, I regrettably want to 

            5   make an announcement and adjourn in the memory of a 

            6   long-time Board of Equalization employee in our New York 

            7   office who passed away on Friday, May 14th; Michael 

            8   Kopp.  Some of you have -- may have had some involvement  

            9   with him, but was in his 33rd year of service with the 

           10   Board, and passed away at the age of 54.  

           11            He's survived by his wife, Roberta, whom he 

           12   marred in 1985; and his two sons, Eric and Bobby.  

           13            Michael started his career with the Board as a 

           14   Tax Auditor in the New York office in 1977 and was 

           15   promoted as Associate Tax Auditor on April 1, 1980; and 

           16   served as a Business Tax Specialist beginning in June of 

           17   1987; and continued to really serve the Board with 

           18   distinction as a Supervising Tax Auditor I and II.  

           19            Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he later 

           20   became a resident of Englishtown, New Jersey.  And I'm 

           21   sure you'll join me in extending our heartfelt 

           22   sympathies to his family and his co-workers.  

           23            And with that we are adjourned.
