            4            MS. OLSON:  Our next item is Administration, 

            5   Facilities Update.  

            6            MS. HOUSER:  Good morning, Madam Chair and 

            7   Members.  I'm Liz Houser, Deputy Director, 

            8   Administration.  My first item today is an update on the 

            9   headquarters facility.  Work continues on the 22nd floor 

           10   with an estimated completion date of mid-February.  

           11            The 11th floor has been turned over to DGS for 

           12   investigation and destructive testing in the ceiling.  

           13   However, BOE is still able to use the hallways to access 

           14   the elevators as the containments do not impact this 

           15   area.  

           16            The water intrusion assessment final report is 

           17   still pending from LaCroix Davis.  When finalized, the 

           18   report is expected to identify water intrusion events 

           19   discovered in the building and how each was addressed.  

           20            Per DGS, the final report will be available 

           21   when the work is complete.  

           22            Work continues on break rooms, but we do not 

           23   have an estimated completion date at this time.  DGS has 

           24   not yet provided a protocol timeline or cost for the 

           25   work that needs to be done in the restrooms and elevator 

           26   shafts.  

           27            DGS has contracted with an additional 

           28   consultant, StanTech, who will perform an infrastructure

            1   study of the headquarters building and this study is 

            2   scheduled to begin this week.
