The State Board of Equalization is committed to improving the services it provides to taxpayers. Accordingly, the Board has implemented a service to provide answers to general, non-confidential tax questions submitted via e-mail.
If you have general tax questions that are not addressed in our Frequently Asked Questions section or elsewhere on our website, please use the form below to send your questions to the main Board office via e-mail. Otherwise, you may call the Information Center toll-free at 1-800-400-7115 or visit the nearest State Board of Equalization Field Office.
We will respond as quickly as possible. Our goal is to answer all your questions within 12 calendar days. If we are unable to answer your specific request within the 12 days, we will send you an acknowledgement notifying you that we have received your request and are working on a response to you.

Customer Service Information Center e-mail account. If you choose to disregard
