Electronic Funds Transfer - New EFT Online Payment System

Eligible taxpayers can now make their Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments for sales and use tax over the Internet.

If you are currently registered as an EFT taxpayer and use the ACH debit payment method, you can make your EFT payments for sales and use tax over the Internet. To access this service, click here to visit the BOE's EFT Web site.

If you are not registered to make ACH debit payments, or, if you would like to change to the ACH debit payment method, you will need to complete an Authorization Agreement for Electronic Funds Transfer (BOE-555-EFT), or for assistance, contact the EFT Helpline at 916-327-4229.

Please note - for an electronic tax payment to be timely, it must be initiated on or before the tax due date and the funds must settle into the Board of Equalization's bank account on or before the banking day following the due date.
